Dave was one of my teachers at DCC and we had a good time together! I would have service calls at DCC and I'd always gather up Dave and take him with me just to give him a hard time and we'd laugh! At least now he's getting some great rest! I'll pray for the family that you'll get rest in Jesus!

To the family...my parents lived near you when you were in Ridgeway...and my memories of Dave and Adelene are amongst my favorite of growing up. I babysat for them...and Mom kept "little Steve" when he was just a baby. There's a great picture of Dave and Adelene with Mom in the photo gallery. My favorite memory...Dave singing "Waltzing Matilda" as he danced Adelene around the living room with this wonderful smile on his face! Quite a guy and a special person to have had in your lives. My thoughts are with you all...but what wonderful memories you have to share with one another.

To all of Dave's family,

I only had the pleasure of meeting Dave once, but he did make it quite clear to me his love of the Virginia Elks Youth Camp.

I had never realized that Dave was born in West Springfield, Massachusetts (about 50 miles west of where I was born in Worcester, and about 50 miles east of where I now live in Dalton). I heard so many stories about Dave, and only can wish that I had gotten to know him better.

My prayers and thoughts are with the entire family.
