To the Lawton and Harris Families:
This loss comes at a time when only our Lord and Savior can understand it most. We all knew and loved Della for the real trooper that she was and a person that you could depend on.
In the coming days as this loss becomes more evident, we will, in our own ways come to realize that God has called home a Jewel to add to his ranks. Yes we will miss her, but we must rejoyce in knowing that we will see her again.
I will keep you in my heart, as I have kept you in my prayers. May God continue to shine his light upon you.

I am so glad I got the chance to meet Della on the day before she died. She told me she was "the nut in the family" as she gave me a great big grin. I could tell she had a wonderful personality and was a very loving and accepting person. My sympathy goes out to the Lawton and Bond families.
