Douglas Chrisley Obituary

Douglas Franklin (Doug) Chrisley, 68, of Max Meadows, passed away Saturday, November 26, 2011. He was born August 7, 1943 in Wythe County, son of the late Ernest Franklin and Dolly Hodge Chrisley. He was a former personnel employee with Jefferson Mills, Owner/operator of Chrisley's Tom's Vending and Snacks Sales, Manager of Red Carpet Inn and Sea Cove Restaurant. Doug's hobbies were fishing and hunting. He was a member of Galena Presbyterian Church and a loving husband and brother. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Reese Chrisley; two sisters Peggy Tabor and husband, Jack, of Dublin, Brenda Rockwell, of Southern Pines, N.C.; special pet Crickett. Numerous nieces, nephews and relatives also survive. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 1 p. m. at the Memorial Christian Church Cemetery in Draper. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p. m. at the Barnett Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www. highlandfuneralservice.com.
