Edward Douglas Graham, 81, of Roanoke, passed away Friday, June 7, 2013 at his home. He worked for Akzo Nobel for many years, and was a United States Army Veteran. Mr. Graham was a member of Cave Spring Baptist church, and had taught Sunday School for many years. He enjoyed Geneology and Virginia Tech Football. He was a graduate of Virginia Tech Class of 1953, and also served in the Corp. of Cadets. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Charlotte H. Graham; his children, Eva G. Oliver, Douglas A. Graham and fiancÃ©e, Joyce Dixon; a brother, Eugene Graham and wife, Dolores; his grandchildren, Jonathan, William, Charles, Joseph, Dillon and Katie; also two great grandchildren; a special family friend, Donald Oliver.

Services will be at Oakey's South Chapel at 2 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2013. Pastor Rick Elmore will officiate. Interment with military honors will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
