Jacque, We are surrounding you with our love and loving thoughts from Chicago, where we are right now. We wish so much that we could be there with you this week. Lee touched many lives with her presence and sharp, unforgettable wit. How blessed she was to have you as her loving, caring daughter.

Dear Jacque, My heart goes out to you at this time of sadness for you. I was so saddened to hear of Roy's passing and then to hear about your Mom, how sad! What wonderful memories I have of Roy and your Mom. How blessed you were to have had those whom you have loved the most for such a long time. My love to you. Pat Brugh Shotwell in Buchanan

Dear Jackie, Someone asked me recently if I knew where Lee was and I told them I THOUGHT she was in NC with her daughter. I am sorry some of us lost touch with her these past years. I have so many wonderful memories of our trips to New York and still laugh when I look at the pictures of the two of you wearing big red noses and singing "Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Raindeer" on our Christmas bus trip to New York! I thank God that I had the privilege of knowing precious Lee. Love and sympathy to you and all your family from Celi Zini Stoutamire in Salem, VA.

Jacque ... We were so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. We did see her up front with you on Sunday. It is hard to believe she is gone a day later. We are thinking of you at this very sad time for you ... Jack and Judie Braak.

Dear Jackie,
Your sorrow of the past few weeks is unbelievable. Please know how much I have thought of you all since learning of Roy's death last week. It has been so long since I've seen you all, probably close to 35 years. My Dad and Mom, Harry and Sallie Harris, ran the grocery store in Buchanan, and I've remembered so many of the wonderful visits of you and your precious Mother to the store all those years ago. My husband, Jim and I, tried to catch up with you this past Saturday, but missed seeing you in Buchanan then. We will do our best to see you this week. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. You must have so many wonderful memories of your Mother! Love, Vicki (Harris) Eubank

Lee has been a special and very dear friend to me. I am so thankful I had the honor to know her for these many years. Anytime I was with her, I always felt the deep love she had for her daughter, son-in-law, family and friends. To the very end, she was a joy to behold and an inspiration to all of us. I will treasure my last minutes last week with her forever. Lee will be missed. We look forward to seeing her dear face and hearing her sweet laughter on the streets of Gold.
Jacque, I love you too and pray for your peace and comfort that only God can give.
Big Hugs from your friend.
