Erma Marilyn Weaver

Erma Marilyn Weaver, 90, of Blacksburg, Va., died on Monday, May 3, 2010, at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born in Ferrum, Va., on July 16, 1919, to the late Harvey and Allie Wood Wade. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Oscar Weaver Sr.; and sisters and brothers, Zinnie Wade, Ocie Scott, Mamie Blankenship, Daltern Wade, and Eva Scott. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, the Rev. Dewey O. Weaver Jr. and Sandra Weaver, of Blacksburg; grandchildren, Kim and Myron Powell, of Salem, Keith and Beth Weaver, of Newago, Mich., Kevin and Sheri Weaver, of Christiansburg, and Kris and Mary Weaver, of Blacksburg; 13 great-grandchildren, Andra, Jordan, Lauryn Grace, Landon, Joseph Powell, Bethany Dice, David and Thomas Weaver, Hannah, Justin, Trent Weaver, Kailey and Jake Weaver; a greatgreatgranddaughter, Abigail Dice; a sister, Clydie Ferguson, of Rocky Mount; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dewey O. Weaver Jr. and the Rev. Mike Vest officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday evening, May 4, 2010, at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg, Va.
