Evelyn F. Tingler, 87, of Locust Grove, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Mary Washington Hospital, Fredericksburg. She was a CNA at Woodmont Nursing Home in Fredericksburg until her retirement.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Graham Tingler; a son, Richard Graham Tingler; and a brother, Norman French.
She is survived by her son, Warren Gary Tingler and wife, Gloria; five grandchildren, Shannon Fugate and her husband, Lon Fugate, Richard Tingler II., Stuart G. Tingler and his wife, Lindsay Tingler, Jessica Fraley, and Jennifer Hochstetler; five great-grandchildren, Gillian & Lonnie Fugate, Graham Tingler, Penelope Fraley, and Ayden Hochstetler. Survivors also include nieces Linn Mills and Pam Rhoney, and nephews, Jonny and Scott Fuller.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at Johnson Funeral Home, Locust Grove, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Culpeper National Cemetery, Culpeper. An online guestbook and obituary are available at www.johnsoncares.com.
