Freda Diana Gibson, 62, of Roanoke, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 8, 2013, surrounded by loved ones, family, and friends. An area resident her whole life, she was born on July 5, 1951, to the late William R. and Lillian Elizabeth Underwood Trail. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Gibson; and son, Bruce Saunders.
