Goldia Quesenberry Obituary

Goldia Avis Goad Quesenberry, 101, of Dugspur, Va., passed away on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Trinity Mission of Hillsville. Mrs. Quesenberry was born in Morehead, Kentucky to the late Alexander and Dillie Largen Goad. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Junie Earls Quesenberry. She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Melvin Earls Quesenberry, of Indian Valley and Noah Elmon and Alice Quesenberry, of Dugspur; and daughters and sons-in-law, Sadie Moore, of Dugspur, Shelba and Charles Layman, of Martinsville, Lula and Bernard Gusler, of Stoneville, N.C., Virginia and Sheldon Ousley, of Hillsville, and Betty Q. Hall, of Radford. She was also blessed with 17 grandchildren, 28 greatgrandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service with burial following will be held at Quesenberry Cemetery on Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Vinton Quesenberry officiating. The family will receive friends at VaughanGuynnMcGrady Chapel on Tuesday, April 20, 2010, from 6 until 8 p.m. A guestbook is available online by visiting www.vaughan guynnandmcgrady.com. VaughanGuynnMcGrady Chapel is serving the family.
