Harry Haynes Obituary

Harry D. (Sparkey) Haynes III, 52, of Tomah, Wis., departed from this life on Thursday, April 1, 2010. He was born on September 23, 1958, in Hampton, Va., to Harry D. Haynes Jr. and the late Margaret F. Dickson, of Hampton, Va. He attended Roanoke City Schools, afterwards served in the United States Navy. He then moved to Tomah, Wis., were he lived for 30 years. He was surrounded by many good friends and close neighbors. He is survived by his father, Harry D. Haynes Jr., of Roanoke; brother, Kevin Timothy (Mary) Haynes, of Portsmouth, Va.; sister, Stephanie H. Kendall, of Hampton, Va.; uncle, Dewitt Haynes, of Atlanta, Ga.; two nephews, Kevin Haynes and Steven Haynes, both of Portsmouth, Va.; and one niece, Aisha Kendall, of Portsmouth, Va. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret F. Dickson; stepfather, Harry. S. Dickson, of Hampton, Va.; grandparents, Harry D. Sr. and Cassell J. Haynes; uncle, Lewis A. Sr. and Virginia Haynes, all of Roanoke, Va. A Memorial Service will be planned during the upcoming CrutchfieldHaynes Family Reunion in July 2010.
