Hazel Mynes Obituary

Hazel V. Mynes, 98, of Salisbury, Md., passed away on Monday, April 5, 2010. She was born in Salem, Va., to the late John Henry and Tabatha Sue Wright Moses. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert D. Mynes, who died in 1963; and siblings, Thelma Foster, Truby Moore and Cecil Moses. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, John William and Trudy Mynes, of Brea, Calif., and Albert W. and Evelyn Mynes, of Hebron, Md.; a sister, Etta Flinchum, of Salem; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, April 10, 2010, at Sherwood Memorial Park. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are being handled by Lotz Funeral Home, Salem, Va., 540-389-9208.
