To The Atkinson Family,
I am sorry to learn of Helen's passing,
my mother Ruth Thomas Nicely passed away in 1998, she lived in Fairlawn and worked at New River Textile (Burlington Mills), she knew Helen and Maurice. I was once married to Larry Atkinson of Shawsville, but now I live in Vance, SC. God be with each of you during this difficult time.

I was sad to learn of Helen's passing. She was always a beautiful lady inside and out. My prayer is for her family to have strength to be without her and for joy in the memories made together. My love, Ethel Smoot Atkinson.

I am so sorry I cannot be there with you. My health prevents traveling now. I will miss coming to Radford to visit my sister. Life changes everyday for us. I am thinking of you. Love, Margie & family
