Helene Halpern Katz

Helene Halpern Katz, 60, of Atlanta, Ga., and formerly of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira E. Katz; and her father, Murray Halpern. She is survived by her children, Eric Katz, Scott and Mandy Katz and Jonathan Katz; grandsons, Dean and Ryan Katz; mother, Nathalie Halpern; mother-in-law, Roslyn Katz; siblings, Harold and Debra Halpern, and Larry and Randy Halpern; brother and sister-in-law, Alan and Patrice Katz; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, April 9, 2010, at Beth Israel Cemetery on Route 460 East. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
