Mrs. Wooldredge my thoughts and prayers are with you today. I have known Homer for many years while he was coaching high school at Moneta and I was attending high school at Montvale. Over the many years since then where ever I saw him I always enjoyed our conversations and you could bet it was at some kind of ball game. He was always the same Homer that everone loved and respected as a friend, anyone that did not have the oppurnity to know him missed out on a real blessing. I know he will be greatly missed. May God bless you and your family.

Rushie -
It has been so many years .... I can remember you watching our children when they were toddlers and now they are grandparents themselves ... I am so sorry to hear of Homer Jr. passing. .. I had intentions of stopping to see him one day, just to hash over old times. ... I am so sorry that I procastinated ... He shall always be remembered as a good friend of many years. Our thoughts and Prayers go out to you and your Family in this most difficult of times. ...
He was one of my old friends from Bedford from so many years ago, who along with his Dad taught me to play pool and showed me by example how to be a good sport ... I can remember him once saying, "if you can't play a sport, be one" .. I never forgot that message. ... I played on both softball and baseball teams with him and on a couple softball teams he later coached in the Bedford Recreation League back in the '60's and he was such a gentleman, a student of the game and a always showed great sportmanship.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him I am sure ....
God Bless,
Dale & Emily Wilson

My love to Rushie...I think Mr. Wooldridge, my eight grade history teacher at Moneta Hgh School was the first man I ever loved (other than my dad). His smile would light up the classroom & gym. He encouraged each of his students, and players, to just always do their best regardless of the challenge...Bedford flags should be flying at halfmast.....With love, Marie Saunders Batten

Dear Mrs Wooldridge & Family,
My condolences go out to all of you for your loss of 'Homer Junie' as I affectionately remember calling him as a child...
I remember coming to your home and being welcomed, loved, and feed by all of you. Our family enjoyed being with each other and spending time together.
I remember Homer Junie would always sneak pieces of candy to me and tell me not to tell... He was a wonderful man and will be missed.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
