Isaac W. Baughman, 87, of Roanoke, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2013. Born to the late Elbern and Callie Baughman in Philippi, W.Va. on December 13, 1925, he served in the South Pacific and China with the United States Marines in World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, John; three sisters; and a brother. He is survived by sisters, Kathleen Cather, of Flemington, W.Va. and Harriett Anderson, of Santa Ana, Calif.; his beloved wife, Rosita Green Baughman; and daughter, Cynthia Baughman, of Roanoke; his son, Eric Baughman, of Wilmington, N.C.; and by longtime family friend, Jon Guillot, of Charlottesville.

Ike was a retired supervisor of Marketing Education in the Virginia Department of Education.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Oakey's North Chapel, with the Rev. Jeff Wilson officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Oakey's North Chapel.
