You were the other side of the rock that held our family together. I have so many great memories of you that I will cherish for the rest of my lifr and I will share them with all of us kids, mom, and all of your grandchildren. We will keep your spirit alive thru us. Daddy I will greatly miss you and I'll love forever. It's so hard to bare the thought of you not here with us. You walways took care of us thru it all you and mom were there. Dad, our sadness knows no end;
We can’t believe you’re gone;
We’re grieving for you every day;
It’s hard to carry on.

You were always there to support and care,
When we needed a true friend,
How we’ll ever do without our dad,
We cannot comprehend.

You were our teacher and our guide,
Our dad, so good and strong;
Your example will sustain us now,
And last our whole lives long.

We’re trying to communicate;
We hope that you can hear;
Expressing what we feel for you,
Helps us feel you’re near.

Our memories of the times we had
Help the pain to go away.
But Dad, our lives won’t be the same;
We’ll miss you every day.

A part of us went with you;
You left a gap too big to fill;
You’re our father and our hero;
We love you and we always will.

You may have not been my dad by blood but you have and always will be my dad by heart. So many things have happened over the years but my love for the family has never changed. I will always remember that sweet, sweet smile of yours that always made everything better on the bad days! Even though it has been twenty years it seems only yesterday you and mom were picking me and Tammy up from school. It was like yesterday we would sit up all night and play cards. I will miss you but I will not say goodbye because I know you are smiling down on us and watching over us all the time. I love you and always will!

Love your daughter Becky.....

You were there for so long,
We never thought you would leave.
We thought you had another year
Waiting up your sleeve.

The day that you left
Was the saddest of our life.
We remember sitting at home
And crying all day and night.

We might be selfish
But we wish you were here.
Or if you stayed
For one more year.

We know you loved us
And we still love you too.
So we're trying to be strong
Just for you.

We know we're not perfect.
we know we'll never be.
we just hope you're up there
And that you're proud of us all.

You had to let go
Even though you were holding on for so long
But there's not a day we don't think of you,
And how you were so strong.

We just want to tell you
That you're always in my heart.
Even though we still cry
We know we're not apart.

Missing and loving you always, Grandpa.

Grandpa Boettjer will be missed but it is comforting to know that we noe have one more Angel watching over us! We love you Grandpa

Love,

Mercedes, Kayla, Austin, Jazmyn

TO:Mrs.Becky,John,Brian,Matt,Tammy,Debbie.And all the SWEET SWEET Grandchildren.
There will come a day
when your tears of sorrow
will softly flow into tears of remembrance...
and your heart will begin to heal itself...
and grieving will be interrupted by episodes of joy...
and you will hear the whisper of hope.
There will come a day
when you will welcome the tears of remembrance...
as a sunshower of the soul...
a turning of the tide...
a promise of peace.
There will come a day when you will...
risk loving...
go on believing...
and treasure the tears of remembering.
You are not alone today
Nor will you be tomorrow
For warmest thoughts of those who care
Are with you in your sorrow
And may it comfort you to know
Your loved ones are thought of too
By everyone who shares the loss
Of one so dear to you
