Julian Repass Obituary

Julian C. Repass, 82, of Roanoke, died on Friday, August 6, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred C. and Thelma Sue Repass. Surviving are his wife, Thelma W. Repass; stepdaughters, Robin Clark Evans and husband, Stanley of Greensboro, N.C. and Cynthia Clark Wilson and husband, David of Roanoke; stepgranddaughters, Jennifer and Christine Evans of Greensboro, N.C.; stepgreatgranddaughters, Samantha Ruff and Katie Stvoss. He is also survived by several cousins; nieces; and nephews. Julian was a member of Three Oaks Fellowship United Methodist Church and retired from the Norfolk-Western Railway. Services will be held at Oakey's North Chapel on Monday, August 9, 2010 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Warren Carswell and the Rev. R. C. Wagner officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 8, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Oakey's North Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Gideons International, Roanoke Chapter, P.O. Box 373, Roanoke, Va., 24003 or to Three Oaks Fellowship United Methodist Church, 1026 Gravel Hill Road, PO Box 692, Vinton Va., 24179.
