ON EAGLE'S WINGS (Based on Psalm 91)

Dwell in the shelter of the Lord
Abide in his shadow for life.
And he will raise you up on Eagle's Wings,
Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun,
and Hold you in the Palm of His hand.

I had the honor of working for Mrs. Mendes during my stay in Va. I will never forget the kind, thoughtful and fair treatment she exhibited. I honesty feel that I'm a better person for having known her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I know that Aunt Kathleen and Mommy are happy now. They are back together with Mama and Papa Hurley. Heaven is a brighter place today because they are singing and praising the Lord. They used to get around Mom's piano with Aunt Nina and sing Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art. I can close my eyes and hear them even now. I will always remember the prayers she offered up for Mommy when she was suffering so from cancer. May God honor her prayers and keep her children and grandchildren safe and may they take solace in knowing that she loved the Lord and He loved her. I know that he opened the gates of Heaven and said, "Welcome Home, my good and faithful servant."
