Mabel Hartman Obituary

Mabel L. Hartman, 93, of Roanoke, Va., went to be with the Lord, Saturday May 1, 2010. She is preceded in death by her husband, Winston David Hartman; and son, Paul James LaPrad Sr. Mrs. Hartman was a former member of Red Hill Church of the Brethren and member of Daleville Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Lorine Burleson, Botetourt; grandchildren, Wanda Breeden and husband, Jamie; brother and sister-in-law, Curtis and Frances Graham; sisters-in-law, Mattie Hartman, Margie Byrd, Margaret Hartman; four greatgrandsons; two greatgranddaughters; special nieces, Theresa Graham and Tina Smith; and other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Oakey's South Chapel. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Oakey's South Chapel.

Aunt Mable, I love you and will your pretty face, beautiful smile, and your wonderful personality. You always told it like it was. I know mom, dad, and of course uncle Winston met you at the pearly gates to welcome you home to be with the Lord. Rest in peace angel!
