Steve,
We were so sorry to hear of the passing of your grandmother Mary. We know you and Cindy will miss her very much. She sounded like a terrific lady from what Cindy has told me and of what we read.
Our love and heartfelt blessings go out to you both and to your mom Pat and family as well.

Mom loved us from our first breath, held our hands through the years, guided us along the paths that our lives took, taught us that there is nothing we can't make it through to hold our faith and follow our hearts. She gave us her all and asked nothing in return.
She gave us all the stepping stones in life to become the people we are today, and through it all she stood proud of us all. Her family (husband, children and grandchildren) meant everything in the world to her.
It will be hard on us to let her go physically, but we carry her with us each and everyday in our hearts and our thoughts. The sun rising will remind us of the warmth of her love. Flowers blooming will remind us of her love for life. Our trials and tribulations will remind us of how strong willed she was. There's a part of her in each and every person that hears or reads this and we can all be so honored that she was a part of our lives.
We will always love you mom, wife, and grandmother. We will carry you with us each day in our hearts. We will mourn our loss but rejoice that you are in a better place sitting with your mother and loved ones, awaiting our arrival one day.
SHE WILL LIVED ALWAYS IN OUR HEARTS!!!!

To my brothers and sisters,
Mom has been just that for 60+ years to me. I always knew I had a home there. The Christmas Eve's when we stayed up all night decorating the tree. The apple fights and cleaning the back door. The "ranch burgers" with jelly. Her Gold bowling ball. And so much I couldn't tell it all. Our mom will be missed by us all. There is a hole in our hearts and sadness, but she is smiling and healthy in heaven.
"Were I to draw you a picture of love divine;
It would not be that of a stately angel with form full of grace,
But a tired and toil worn mother;
With a grave and tender face.
She it was who carried you for long months,
and in time, took God's hand in hers to give you life;
She it was that cared for you in your years of infancy,
And your scarely less dependent years of childhood.....
Mike and Terry remember "Flower Talk" from DeMolay.
Mom was all this and more, she will always be our mom.
She will always live in our hearts.

Dear Rutledge Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Mrs. Rutledge was everybody's "Mom" in the neighborhood. I always knew her as "Mom" and didn't even know her name until today. What a wonderful lady who raised a wonderful family who have influenced me more than you will ever know. Blake
