In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Dear Louis,
Please accept my sincere sympathy in the death of your beloved Nancy. I knew her when we both taught at Wasena Elementary School in Roanoke. She was talented in numerous ways & was fun to know & a good person with whom to work. You both warmly welcomed Wasena staff into your lovely home to socialize on various occasions - - sometimes spur of the moment at the end of a school day if Nancy got the urge - - & you both were generous, fun hosts. She was a lovely lady. Please extend my sympathy to all of your extended family members.
Sincerely,
Sue C. Pigg

Dear Jim:
Please accept our deepest sympathy on the loss of your very beloved mother Nancy Hudson. How fortunate that you were able to not only have a great relationship with her, but you were able to be there for her these last weeks to talk with her, assist her and comfort her. I am sure that from the great beyond, she is with you and know that her love for you is everlasting and her spirit is at peace knowing how fortunate she was to have you as her son.
With much love, your friends, Robert Bluman and David Deutsch, Encino,California.
