Noah Mills Obituary

Noah E. (Eddie) Mills Jr., 78, of Callaway, Va., passed away Friday, July 9, 2010. He was born September 18, 1931, to the late Noah E. Mills Sr. and Hattie Green Mills. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Albert Earl Mills; and two sisters, Lorene Jennings and Pearl Clark. Mr. Mills was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Korea. He loved the outdoors and never met a stranger. Surviving is his loving wife of 57 years, Doris H. Mills; sons, Ronald Dale Mills and wife, Vicki, Jerome M. Mills Sr. and wife, Judy; grandchildren, Kristoffer Mills, Derek Mills, Jerome Mills Jr.; one greatgrandchild, Liam Mills; brothers and sisters, Paul Franklin Mills and wife, Judy, Claude Robert Mills and wife, Nancy, Sylvester "Sibby" Byrd, and Velva Byrd; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted from Conner-Bowman Funeral Chapel 11 a.m. Monday with Minister Larry Meador officiating. Interment will follow in the Mills family Cemetery.
