Dear Anne,
Please accept my heart-felt condolences. Norm was a dedicated colleague and friend, a much-appreciated member of our choir at Blacksburg Presbyterian Church, and someone his Va Tech colleagues could count on to provide long-range perspectives on our corporate work. My daughter Joanna, whom I'm visiting now in Oxford, England, also sends her fond memories (from years ago) and expresses her sympathy.

Ann, I'm thinking of you and your family and you are in my prayers. I receive so much wisdom and concern from Norm. He was one of my fellow "Sandinista brothers" when we traveled though Central America together. I will miss him very much.
