Paul Wood Obituary

Paul A. Wood Jr., 78, of Troutville, Va., and formerly of Roanoke, Va., died peacefully on Sunday, July 4, 2010. A son of the late Paul A. Wood Sr. and Harriett Wood, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Daniel T. Wood. Surviving are his son, Paul A. Wood III, of Houston, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Gayle and Bill Daniel, of Roanoke; granddaughter, Lorri Jordan and husband, Chad; three great-grandchildren, Kinsey, Keegan and Violet; and a sister, Harriett E. Wood. The family wishes to thank the Botetourt County Rescue Squads and the MICU at Lewis Gale Medical Center. Services will be private. Arrangements are by Oakey's North Chapel and Crematory, 540-362-1237.
