Dear Ruby and Sherry, I just heard about Wacky. I'm so sorry for your loss, and hope you find comfort, stength, and peace from your family and friends along with the knowledge he's in a much better place now. Wacky's smile will continue to grace you in your dreams and memories, and his arms will warm your body and soul through God's angels when you need it most. I know my mom and dad so still. God bless you both, and take care.

Ruby,
Earle & I are so very sorry to hear of Wacky's passing. Although we only knew you a short time, you both have touched our lives in a way that no one else has. We will treasure the memory of him, the things he said to make us laugh and to make the wait for radiation go by faster. He truely was a wonderful person and we are lucky to have known him if even for a short time. Please call us if you need anything, anything at all. And please know that you are in my (our) thoughts & prayers.

Ruby,
Our prayer and thoughts are with you at this time of loss. May God Bless you give you strength and courage. We have fond memories of Wacky while at Oakland. He was a neat man. I will never forget the time Christmas of 1983 he came to our house as Santa Claus. I did not know whether to let him in or not, I didn't know who he was until he started talking. Our children still talk about how exciting it was for Santa to come to their house.

To Ruby and Sherry. Words cannot express the sorrow that I feel for your loss. Wacky meant so much to me. I cherished our time together. As a young man he was one of those pillars of strength that a young man like myself leaned on and he helped tremendously in shaping my life. I was so fortunate that he was there for me. I thank God everyday that there were people like him around. I wanted you to know that as empty as I feel right now, that heaven is a better place with him in it. God bless you...............David Hardie

Ruby and Sherry,
Yesterday, this community lost a dear, dear friend.
I have been blessed to have known each of you for so
many years, to have witnessed the kind, gentle man
Wacky was in my youth when we cheered while he coached, in my 20's at the First Federal events knowing his laughter and hugs and through the years knowing his devotedness as a loving Husband and Father. I am so glad we had a wonderful visit in the fall. My thoughts, prayers and love are with you at this sad time. May your many, many amazing memories help you through these days ahead.
