Hodges take care bud the Lord Jesus Christ has got you under his wing. We started in FT Benning then FT Hood and off to Iraq we went. It was a long tour but I want to thank you for serving your Country, thanks for taking part of America's Legacy the United States Army. Godspeed!

My husband and I am truley sorry for you loss of Shane. Our sons Chris and Shane were good friends here on Earth and now in Heaven. We so know your pain and loss. You will be in our prayers and are here for you if you need us. Shane was also close to my heart. I was able to get to know him well not only through my son Chris but also when he was in my church group, they keep me on my toes and I loved ever minute of it. I was so proud of Shane the way he was growing up and how he joined the service to protect his country and the ones he loved here at home. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, May God comfort you both like only he truly can. It really does not get easlier, the missing him will always be there. Keep your grandkids close they can help you work through each day. They are blessings that Shane has left for you. May God Bless you both.

We grow older, take different directions & end up in different places but we never really leave each other's mind or heart. I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Shane running from parents to grandma for protection when he was little and knowing he needed a spanking. Those were fun memories. I have lost a child as well and I know that God has a plan that we do not understand. May God be with you all during this difficult time. I will be praying for all of you.
