Victoria H. Mills

Victoria H. Mills, 101, of Callaway, Va., died on Wednesday, April 7, 2010. She was born on May 17, 1908, a daughter of the late Bailey and Anna Mason Helms. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Clayton M. Mills; five sisters; and three brothers. Mrs. Mills was a life long member of Highland United Methodist Church of Callaway of which she was proud to serve in many offices and positions. She was retired from the Postal Service with many years of service and was also a homemaker and helped her husband farm for many years. The last four years she was a resident of the United Virginia Methodist Home of Roanoke where she had many friends. Surviving are her son, James Mills and wife, Mary, of Callaway; one grandson; three stepgrandsons; two greatgrandchildren; four stepgreatgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 10, 2010, from Flora Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jason Bryant officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park.
