Roy has always been such a big part of our family and losing him is as close to losing a brother as it can be. I have nothing but fond and loving memories of Roy. He was always a gentleman and never spoke a harsh word. He was one of a kind and I am so proud and blessed to have known such a man. I am going to miss him greatly. I am so glad that he and Florence got together, because I know she made him happy and he loved her deeply. She is a wonderful lady and I know she will miss him greatly. To all of the family you have my sympathy as his passing is a great loss to all of you as well as to all of us.

To the Bowyer Family:
I went all the way through school from
elementary thru high school with Roy and I remember him fondly. He was always very quiet and very polite. I can remember he and his buddy, Larry Drummond were the best of friends thru school. I know all the family will miss him dearly as he was a very special person to know. My deepest sympathy and prayers go out to each of you. I'm sure you have tons of special memories that you can cherish for the rest of your lives of Roy.
