Mary Margaret Bayse Gordon, 87, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Giles T. (Tommy) Gordon Sr.; her parents, Jewell Farmer Bayse II and Mary Widdifield Bayse; a brother, Jewell Farmer (Junior) Bayse III; and a sister, Frances Bayse Kingery. Mrs. Gordon was a member of Rosalind Hills Baptist Church, and retired from the S. H. Heironimus.

A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she is survived by her children, Giles T. (Tommy) Gordon Jr. and wife, Nedra, Sherrill Gordon, Linda Scott and husband, Tim, Paul Gordon and wife, JoAnn, and Timothy Gordon and wife, Janice; grandchildren, Kristi Moncrieff and husband, John, Kimberly Bergsten and husband, Eli, Susan Clancy and husband, Brandon, Gregory Gordon, Zane Scott and wife, Melissa, Julie Gordon, Seth Gordon, Kevin Gordon, and Emily Gordon; 11 great-grandchildren; and a special aunt, Elizabeth Mackie.
