Ann Wright Deyerle, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 24, 2013. Ann was born in Roanoke on February 7, 1938, to the late Melvin Wright and Hazel Wright. She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Deyerle Jr., who passed away in 2012.

Her surviving family includes her two sons, James A. Deyerle III and David B. Deyerle; a sister, Carolyn Creech; nieces, Sherri Satterwhite and Kim Brown; grandchildren, Sean W. Deyerle and Evan B. Deyerle; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Ann was a horse enthusiast who competed for years in and around Virginia. She was an active member of the Roanoke Valley Association of Realtors, where she worked for Mastin, Kirkland, Bolling Realtors. Ann was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who always had the gift of inserting laughter for any occasion.
A memorial service will be conducted at noon on Monday, September 30, 2013, from Oakey's South Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until noon on Monday.
