Amanda Baker LAURINBURG — Amanda Baker, 95, of Laurinburg, died March 17, 2015, at her home. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Franklin Chapel AME Zion Church. Burial will follow in Baker family cemetery in Rocky Mount. The viewing will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday at Jackson Funeral Home in Laurinburg. The visitation will be at 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Boling, Jane  
Jane McConnaughey Boling RED SPRINGS — Mrs. Jane McConnaughey Boling, 90, went home to be with the Lord on March 20, 2015. Jane was born in Erwin, grew up in Red Springs and was a graduate of Flora MacDonald College. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Margaret McConnaughey; a sister, Anne Buie; a husband, Ronald Boling; her brothers, Robert and William McConnaughey; and her sister-in-laws, Patricia and Sue McConnaughey. She is survived by her children, Robert, Chris, Douglas and Jane; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Alloway Cemetery in Red Springs, directed by Crumpler Funeral Home in Red Springs.

Brayboy, Clara  
Clara Dell Brayboy MAXTON — Mrs. Clara Dell Brayboy, 76, of 1569 O'Quinn Road, was born July 6, 1938, and was welcomed into eternity on March 17, 2015, at Scotland Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Faulk Hunt Jr. and Mrs. Evelyn Mitchell Hunt; her siblings, Mr. Vardell Hunt and Ms. Lettie Mae Jacobs; and two grandchildren, Ms. Brooke Jacobs and Mr. Josh Hunt. Mrs. Brayboy was a devoted wife, mother, MaMa, sister, and friend. She served God over 50 years and was a faithful member of Mt. Hebron Holiness Church. The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Hebron Holiness Church, the Revs, David Hunt, Kerry Revels, and Freddie Locklear officiating. Burial will follow at the Brayboy-Jacobs family cemetery. Mrs. Brayboy leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 56 years, Mr. Carnie Brayboy of the home; two sons, Mr. Herbert Brayboy and Mr. Ronnie (Mrs. Lucille) Brayboy of Maxton; three daughters, Mrs. Clara (Mr. Perry) Jones, Mrs. Evelyn (Mr. Lynn) Jacobs, and Ms. Debbie Brayboy, all of Maxton; a sister, Ms. Dora Hunt of Rowland; a brother, Mr. Cornelius Hunt of Stone Mountain, Ga.; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Hebron Holiness Church. The viewing will be one hour before the services at the church.

The funeral will be 8 p.m. today at Thompson's Funeral Home in Pembroke. The visitation will be an hour before the service at Thompson's Funeral Home in Pembroke.
