LUMBERTON – Aileen Britt Parker, 90, of Lumberton, passed away on Jan. 4, 2014, at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Broadridge Baptist Church, the Revs. Michael Longson and Jim Seaman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

She was born in Robeson County on April 10, 1923, to the late Mort Britt and the late Annie Cox Britt.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnson Allen Parker; two brothers, Vander Britt and Billy Britt; three sisters, Dorothy Walton, Janie Hardin and Bernice Britt; a grandson, Kenneth Ray Parker Jr.; and two great-grandchildren, Nicole Conner and Jason Simmons.

Mrs. Parker is survived by her son, Kenneth Ray Parker Sr. and wife Peggy, of Lumberton; her daughter, Cleo Smith of Orrum; a brother, Grady Britt of Lumberton; three sisters, Maggalene Harden and Louise Parker, both of Lumberton, and Ruby Wilkerson of Orrum; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc. of Lumberton.
