MARYVILLE, Tenn. – Betty Wilkins Sessoms, 80, of Maryville, Tenn., passed away Jan. 14, 2014, at her home.

A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.

She was born to Seth and Evelyn Wilkins on Dec. 27, 1933, in Robeson County. She was a member of Maryville First United Methodist Church in Maryville, Tenn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Carl Wilkins and Edward Wilkins of Lumberton, and her sister, Bobbie Jean Marshburn, of Wallace, N.C.

Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Patterson of Orange Beach, Ala., Donna Sessoms and husband Tom Jagodinski of Panama City Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Kathy, Kristy and William; great-granddaughters, AnKara and Nadia; brother, Jack Wilkins and wife Nancy of Hendersonville, N.C., and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Maryville First United Methodist Church, 804 Montvale Station Road, Maryville, Tenn., 37803.
