RAYNHAM — Dwayne Grover Coxe, 51, of Raynham, passed away Oct. 22, 2013, at Duke University Hospital of Durham.

A memorial will be 2:30 p.m. today at Raynham Baptist Church, the Rev. Jerry Lowery officiating.

He was born in Robeson County on Sept. 13, 1962, to the late Boyd Leggett Coxe and Frances Strickland Coxe. He was self-employed as an electrician.

He was preceded in death by his father; and his son, Steven Dwayne Coxe.

He is survived by his mother of Raynham; his son, Nicholas Coxe of Raynham; two sisters, Nita Owens and husband Charlie of Surfside Beach, S.C., and Kimberly Coxe of Florence, S.C.; two nieces, Kaitlin and Hannah Owens; and his nephew, Charlie Owens III.

The visitation will follow the service at Raynham Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Raynham Baptist Church, 5660 U.S. 301 South, Rowland, N.C., 28383.
