LUMBERTON — Harold Lewis Gray, "Mr. Harold", 77, of Lumberton, passed away on April 12, 2014, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Floyd Memorial Chapel, the Rev. Jeff Broadwell officiating. Burial will follow the service at Tolarsville Baptist Church Cemetery.
He was born in Robeson County on Jan. 13, 1937, to the late Zebulan Vance Gray and Eunice Musselwhite Gray. He retired from Roadway Express as a 3 Million Mile Safe Driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Morris Gray.
Mr. Gray is survived by two sons, Van Gray and wife Cheryl of Greensboro, and Mike Gray and wife Billie of Lumberton; a daughter, Janet Newton and husband Jim of Lumberton; a brother, Tim Gray and wife Glenda of St. Pauls; a sister, Pat Goldbach and husband Bill of Florida; his grandchildren, Alex Gray, Abagail Gray, Mellissa Quick and Rodney Gray; and four great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc., 809 E. Fifth St. in Lumberton.
