ST. PAULS — Joseph Cosimo Mollo, 72, of St. Pauls, passed away on Feb. 7, 2014, at his residence.
A memorial will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Floyd Memorial Chapel, the Rev. Larry Lowery officiating.
He was born in Nassau County, N.Y. on June 13, 1942, to the late Leonard and Wanda Poplowski Mollo. He previously worked as Public Works Director for the Town of St. Pauls.
Mr. Mollo is survived by his wife, Ida Mollo of the home; his sons, Michael Mollo and wife Brenda of Lumberton, and Leonard Mollo and wife Kerry of Fort Collins, Colo.; his daughters, JoAnn Hucks and husband Joey of Lumberton, Stephanie Atkinson and husband William of Lumberton, and Brenda Ganus and husband David of Laurinburg; his brothers, Leonard Mollo of Smith Mountain Lake, Va., and Louis Mollo of Levitown, N.Y.; his sister, Patricia Mazza of Tampa, N.Y.; his grandchildren, Selena Locklear, Joey Brandon Hucks, Nikki Coleman, Brandy Owens, Madison Atkinson, Morgan Mollo, Taylor Mollo, Savannah Hannah, and John Hannah, Joseph Mollo, and Gavin Bullard; and 14 great-grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday before the service.
