PROCTORVILLE — Phyllis Ivey Gray, 63, of 104 N. Cedar St., passed away Sept. 6, 2013, at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.

A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ivey Cemetery, the Rev. Steve Johnson officiating.

Ms. Gray was born July 31, 1950, in Robeson County. She was a Sargent First Class Retired U.S. Army Desert Storm Veteran. At the present time she was employed by Clayburn Walters Timber Co.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hubert Ivey.

She is survived by her son, Chris Gray and wife Renee of Fairmont; her mother, Ithama Lane Ivey of Proctorville; a brother, Lane Ivey of Orrum; a sister, Peggy Jacobs of Wilmington; five grandchildren, Mitchell Holmes, Christine Holmes, Steven Gray, Eban Holmes, and Jarrett Holmes; three nieces, Terri Jacobs, Sharon Collins, and Leslie Fuller; three nephews, Shane Jacobs, Tuck Ivey and Jason Ivey; and a great-grandchild, Grayson Holmes.

The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.
