LUMBERTON — Staley Andrew Hunt, 76, of 1112 Rowan Road, was born July 4, 1937, to Walter and Cletis Oxendine in Robeson County. He departed this life on Sept. 22, 2013.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday at Grace Baptist Church, the Revs. Jerry Locklear and Douglas Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Raynham Indian Cemetery.

Mr. Hunt was preceded in death by his mother and father, Walter and Cletis Oxendine; and his brothers, Woodell and Hanson Hunt.

He is survived by his wife, Rosie Jane Hunt of the home; three sons, Staley Hunt Jr., Ronnie Hunt and Jason Hunt, all of Lumberton; a daughter, Ashlee Hunt of Lumberton; six grandchildren, Tiffany Hunt, Kimberly Hunt, Amanda Jones, Coty Jones, William Holt, and Justin Dial; seven great-grandchildren, Viviana, Braylon, Caleb, Tristan, Jeremiah, Melachi, and Reagan, all of Lumberton; two sisters, Patricia Locklear and husband Bernice of Lumberton, and Terri Mulluer and husband Frank of Florida; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends 7 to 9 today at Revels Funeral Home Pembroke.
