Jason Antiwan Hunt
LUMBERTON — Jason Antiwan Hunt "Droopy", of 1757 Snake Road, was born in Robeson County on Oct. 23, 1984, and passed away on Sept. 4, 2016, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center, Lumberton, N.C.
Droopy enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his dogs and the love of his life, his art.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Gretchen Hunt Blue; and his maternal grandparents, William D. Hunt and Mary E. Oxendine.
He is survived by his wife, Kayla Hunt of Fairmont; his daughter, Jakaelin Gretchen Hunt of Fairmont; his parents, Eugene "Beatle" Blue and Mary Hunt Blue of Lumberton; a brother, Joshua A. Hunt and a sister, Eugenia Blue Goins, both of Lumberton; his father and mother-in-law, Randy and Brenda Hunt of Fairmont; and a host of relatives and friends.
The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Reedy Branch Baptist Church in Fairmont. Burial will follow in church cemetery.
The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Boles-Biggs Funeral Home in Lumberton.

So sorry for your families losss...didn't know Jason for long but the few encounters we did have were always pleasant. .he seemed to be a really good man who loved his daughter and loved talking about her.....be strong and support each other
