AMOS EDNELL JACOBS "EDDIE"

ROWLAND — Amos Ednell Jacobs "Eddie," of Rowland, was born to the late Amos Jacobs and Sudie Mae Jacobs, Tuesday, March 31, 1959, in Cumberland County, and was born into eternity Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, completing his journey of 59 years.

In addition to his father, Mr. Jacobs was preceded in death by a brother, Amos Neil Jacobs. He was a member of Benson Chapel Baptist Church, where he served his Lord and witnessed to all that would hear.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Judith Jacobs; three daughters, Marie Brangerio and husband, Mark, of Connecticut, Ashley Jacobs Lennon and husband, Brian, of South Korea, and Jennifer R. Dial and husband, Clayton, of Maxton; a son, Adam Jeffery Jacobs and wife, Keisha, of Lumberton; his mother, Sudie Mae Jacobs; eight sisters, Brenda F. Carter, Glenda McNeil and husband, Larry, Belinda Locklear and husband, Jimmy, Mary Ellen Locklear, Malinda Rose Chavis, Linda Sue Locklear, Felinda Locklear and husband, James, and Sander Kay Jacobs; two brothers, Amos Odell Jacobs, and Anthony Leon Jacobs and wife, Cindy; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Benson Chapel Baptist Church.

The funeral service will follow the visitation at 3 p.m. Sunday at Benson Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Boles Funeral Home of Rowland.
