Anna Neal Barton
FAIRMONT — Anna Neal Barton, 83, of 199 Irene Drive, Fairmont, passed away Feb. 12, 2014, at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Precious Life Ministries on Elrod Road. Burial will follow in Lumbee Cemetery.
She was born April 13, 1930, in Robeson County.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Doc and Lula Mae Hunt; her husband, Stancil Barton Sr.; two sons, Ernest and Furman Locklear Jr; two sisters, Willie Roller and Myrtle Jacobs; three brothers, June, Leslie and Albert Hunt.
She is survived by three sons, James Ray Locklear (Rosemarie) of Red Springs, Gurney Locklear (Ernestine), and Stancil Barton Jr.(Loretta), all of Fairmont; four daughters, Anne F. Ivey, of Fairmont, Virginia Clark, of Lumberton, Vashti Hunt ( Johnny) of Fairmont, and Teresa Locklear of Maxton; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont, and other times at 2114 Stone Road in Fairmont.
