Arnold Clark

PEMBROKE — Mr. Arnold (Dad) Clark, 68, of 240 Vander Drive, Pembroke, was born on July 18, 1945, in Robeson County to his parents the late Mr. Vander Clark and the late Mrs. Sarah Clark. He departed this life on July 2, 2014, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

Homegoing service for Mr. Arnold (Dad) Clark will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Airy Baptist Church in Lumberton. Interment will follow in the Mt. Airy Baptist Church Cemetery, the Revs. Harley Well Locklear Jr. and Steve Strickland, officiating.

Arnold was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James A. Clark; four sisters, Lorraine Sampson, Janie Locklear, Rockey Maynor, and his baby sister, he loved with all his heart, Marinia Clark; a special nephew, Sean Thomas Brayboy; and the mother of his child, Susan Woods.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories his daughter, Leslie Clark of Lumberton; two grandchildren, Cheyenne Clark – a special granddaughter that lived with Mr. Arnold and took care of him and Kiera Clark of Lumberton; a stepdaughter, Denise Scott; three stepgrandchildren, two brothers, Arther Ray (Man) Clark of Pembroke, and Melton Clark of Red Springs; two sisters, Winnie L. Locklear of Pembroke, and Roselynn Lowery of Lumberton; four special friends, Eddie Locklear, Chester Lowery, Harold Dean Oxendine and Lamon Sanderson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Airy Baptist Church
