LUMBERTON — Easter Kinlaw Rising, of Bladenboro, 79, passed away July 5, 2014, at Southeastern Hospice House of Lumberton.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Frank Kinlaw Cemetery, corner of Smith Mill Road and N.C. 41 East in Lumberton, the Rev. Merle Johnson officiating.
She was born in Robeson County on July 5, 1935, to the late Robert Franklin and Willa Freeman Kinlaw.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Furney Bowen Rising; and a son, Jackie Rising.
She is survived by three sons, Frankie Rising and wife Linda, Ronnie Rising and wife Tammy, and Ricky Rising and wife Margaret, all of Bladenboro; a daughter, Bonnie Britt and husband Joe of Elizabethtown; a daughter-in-law, Sherry Rising of Bladenboro; a brother, Melton Kinlaw of Benson; a sister, Betty Allen of Dublin; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The visitation will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc. of Lumberton.
