PEMBROKE — Mr. Erastus Graham, 77, of 634 Olie Drive, Pembroke, was born Oct. 27, 1936, to the late John Clifton Graham and Tamer Johnson Graham. He departed this life on April 6, 2014.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Johnson family cemetery.
Erastus worked as a Millwright prior to retiring. Many will remember him for his work with Revels Funeral Home in Pembroke over the last few years. Erastus will be remembered for his love and devotion to his family and loyalty to friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gwendolyn Clark Graham; his parents; two brothers, Duckery Graham and Theodore Clifton Graham; and two sisters, Lois Hahne and Phonsene Iler.
He is survived by his son, Joseph (Randy) Graham of Pembroke; two daughters, Rhonda Graham of Pembroke, and Tonya Graham Elliott and husband Paul of Douglasville, Ga.; five grandchildren, Landon, Merica, Logan, Erastus and Stuart; four great-grandchildren, Jacobe, Kayden, Jeremiah and Iyanla. He is also survived by two sisters, Bille Jean Friar of Savannah, Ga., and Nell Lowry of Pembroke; a brother, Steve Dickie Graham of Montgomery, Ala.; and a host of relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Revels Funeral Home in Pembroke.
