Chief Jimmy Goins will surely be missed in our communities and surrounding counties. Jimmy was a man who could work with the Lumbee people on every level that he may have encountered during his tenure as the tribal chairman of the Lumbee tribe of North Carolina. He was a man who believed in helping those that were in need. Most of all he was a man of charity.

Saddened by the news of Jimmy's passing. He was a blessing to the Lumbee and the Tribe will always feel the emptiness left in its collective heart and soul. Wishing peace and comfort to his family.
