ROWLAND — Mr. James Timothy "Lil Man" Hunt, 41, of 596 Bertha Jones Road, died March 23, 2014, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.

The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday at Riverside Holiness Methodist Church, the Revs. William T. Morgan, David Hunt and Dr. Sam Wynn officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He was born in Scotland County on Nov. 30, 1972. Mr. Hunt was an electrician with Adams Electric in Reidsville.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Elmer and Della Hunt; and his maternal grandparents, Doc and Mary Wynne.

In his early years, Timothy had a passion for riding dirt bikes, dancing at pow wows, and riding horse. As an adult, he enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, drag racing, and hanging out with friends and family.

Timothy leaves to cherish his memories three sons, Brandon Prince of Iron Station, James Devon Hunt of Pembroke, and Timothy Tyler Hunt of Shannon; a daughter, Timma Valora Leia Hunt of Shannon; his parents, James Edward and Alice Wynne Hunt of Rowland; two sisters, Sherry Brayboy and husband Marty Brayboy of Rowland, Alisa Hunt Lowery and husband Robin Lowery of Clayton; a brother, Jamie B. Hunt and fiancé Kassondra Chavis of Rowland; three nephews; four nieces; and a host of relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Revels Funeral Home Lumberton.
