ST. PAULS — Robert Garrett, 79, of St. Pauls, entered into eternal rest on Oct. 13, 2013, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.
A homegoing celebration will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Cornerstone Holiness Church, Pastor David Hodge officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
He was a member of Calvary Cornerstone Holiness Church, where he had served as an usher and previously a Deacon. He was retired from Burlington Mills and was also a local farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Mabel B. Garrett; his daughters, Janet Blackmon and husband Charles and Joy McLamb and husband Bobby; his brothers, Hubert Garrett, O.V. Garrett and David Garrett; his grandchildren, Stephen, Kelly, Paula and Jordan; and his great-grandchildren, Gavin, Aiden and Caroline.
The visitation for family and friends will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary Cornerstone Holiness Church, and other times at the home.
