LUMBERTON — Ms. Lisa Rose Sessoms, 51, of Lumberton, passed away Feb. 19, 2014, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center of Lumberton.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Floyd Memorial Chapel, Dr. David Elks and the Rev. Joe Bounds officiating. Burial will follow at Meadowbrook Cemetery.
She was born in Robeson County on Oct. 19, 1962, to the late Lonnie Ray Sessoms and the late Gladys Pearl Sessoms. Lisa was a very loving and generous person. She had a love for animals and was a proud Carolina Panthers fan.
She is survived by her uncles, Asier Simmons of Lumberton, Wade Simmons and wife Geneva of Clarendon, and Bruce Simmons and wife Mary of Loris, S.C.; her aunt, Clara Carroll and husband John of Lumberton; and a host of cousins.
The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc. of Lumberton.
