ROWLAND — Mr. David Wayne Oxendine, 56, of 5146 Cabinet Shop Road, died March 15, 2014, at his home.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at Purvis Independent Baptist Church, the Rev. Ronald Chavis officiating. Burial will follow in the Oxendine family cemetery in Rowland.
He was born Dec. 7, 1957 in Dillon, S.C., to the late Robert and Gussie Oxendine.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Oxendine of the home; two sons, Daniel (Tracy) of Maxton and Justin of Pembroke; three sisters, Tessie Clark of Rowland, Yvonne Bryant (Ken) of Maxton, and Betty Ann (Wayne) of Rowland; five brothers, Leroy (Peggy), Danny (Grace), Fred (Betty Jo), Herman (Helen) and James (Shelia).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Scotland Cancer Center or the Community Home Care and Hospice of Lumberton.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Revels Funeral Home Pembroke.
