FAIRMONT — Wynna (Wendy) Oxendine, 53, of 4836 East McDonald Road, left this life on March 31, 2014, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. She went home to be with the Lord.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Floyd Funeral Services Chapel, the Revs. Scott Hammonds and Johnny Locklear officiating.
She was born in Robeson County on March 16, 1961.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cleveland Oxendine Sr.
She is survived by her mother, Bernetha Oxendine; her son, Corie Oxendine and special friend Natalie Freeman of Laurinburg; a daughter, Latoria (Toy) Oxendine of Fairmont; four brothers, Cleveland Oxendine Jr. and wife Patricia, Kenny Oxendine and wife Doris, Don Oxendine and wife Sindoria, Perry (Frizz) Oxendine and special friend Vonnie Hunt, all of Fairmont; two sisters, Anita Oxendine and Gwen Oxendine of Fairmont; two aunts, Mitch Atkins of Durham, and Irma Wykes of Atlanta, Ga.; two nephews, Jamie and Chad; two nieces, Nichole and Donya, and her special friend, her dog Munchkin; and a host of relatives and friends.
The visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Floyd Funeral Services in Fairmont.
